R&D ・ Quality Control

Strict quality control and careful production management are indispensable pillars of Daiwa’s manufacturing process. Our products are produced at our Tsukuba Plant and several contract manufacturers. Each plant is equipped with state- of- the- art facilities, and is proud of strict quality management. Among them, Tsukuba Plant, which started its operation in April 2000, is operated under particularly strict quality control at every production process.

Tsukuba Plant has been operated in accordance to HACCP standards (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) since its opening. This plant is equipped with the latest fermentation systems which ensure high quality and excellent stability.
Additionally, this plant is designed with careful consideration for environmental conservation by not only meeting the strict effluent standards of this region, but also by its own careful environmental control,

Tsukuba Plant was certified with FSSC22000 (Food Safety System Certification) in 2018. We continue to make further efforts to ensure the manufacture of safe and reliable products.

What is FSSC22000 (Food Safety System Certification)?

The FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification) provides a framework for effectively managing the organization's food safety responsibilities. FSSC 22000 is fully recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and is based on existing ISO Standards. FSSC 22000 demonstrates that a company has a robust and effective food safety management system (FSMS) in place to meet the requirements of regulators, food business clients and consumers.
